SEO Trainer

We are currently looking for a Part-Time trainer to teach our Search Engine Optimization in-person class. The training module comprises of 3 sessions/days, typically scheduled from Friday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Classes are held only once every month to avoid any conflicts with regular office hours.

Key Functions

  • Develop and deliver technical SEO training sessions that cover all aspects of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Create detailed training materials and resources, including presentations, guides, and hands-on exercises, to help team members master SEO techniques.
  • Analyze and explain SEO algorithms and ranking factors to help the team understand their impact on website performance.
  • Conduct keyword research training using advanced tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Keyword Planner.
  • Instruct on the proper use of technical SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics for site audits and performance tracking.
  • Teach structured data implementation (Schema markup) and its role in enhancing search engine results.
  • Provide training on server-side factors affecting SEO, including site speed optimization, mobile-first indexing, and secure protocol implementations (HTTPS).
  • Educate on SEO best practices for CMS platforms, with a focus on WordPress, Shopify, and other common content management systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes and incorporate them into training materials.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve the curriculum based on feedback and the latest SEO advancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • SEO Certifications from recognized institutions or platforms are preferred.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in SEO with a focus on technical SEO.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others.
  • In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proven experience in website auditing and the ability to identify and troubleshoot SEO issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of server-side factors including site speed, mobile optimization, and secure site implementations.
  • Strong understanding of URL structures, redirects (301, 302), and canonical tags.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, etc.
  • Experience with link-building strategies and tools.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest SEO trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Previous training or teaching experience in SEO is a strong plus.

Compensation Package

  • Php 3,000 per session (Tax-Free)
