We are presently seeking a Part-Time instructor to lead our DaVinci Resolve Video Editing course. The instructional program consists of three sessions/days, usually scheduled from Friday to Sunday, running from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Classes are conducted once a month to prevent any scheduling conflicts with regular office hours.
Key Functions
- Plan and develop comprehensive training curriculum for DaVinci Resolve, covering a range of topics from basic to advanced techniques.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and potentially online, to diverse groups of learners.
- Provide step-by-step demonstrations of DaVinci Resolve features and tools, including video editing, color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects.
- Create engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts, and video tutorials.
- Address questions, concerns, and challenges raised by participants during training sessions.
- Evaluate participants’ progress and adjust training methods as needed to ensure effective learning.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features in DaVinci Resolve and incorporate them into training content.
Qualifications
- Degree in Multimedia Art, Film and Visual-Audio Communication, Digital Cinematography, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 – 2 year(s) work experience working video production and post-production
- Video Editing work related experience in Local Television Networks (GMA7, TV5, ABS-CBN) is an advantage but not required.
- Experienced in linear and non-linear editing using DaVinci Resolve
- Experienced with digital video cameras
- Experienced teaching in-studio video production and post-production is a huge advantage
- Should have excellent English communication & presentation Skills
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
- Should be extremely passionate in teaching!
Compensation Package
- Php 2,500 – 3,000 per session/day depending on qualifications
